Hereford United 0 Swindon Town 4.
HEREFORD suffered a comprehensive home defeat to a strong Swindon side in the Puma Youth Alliance Under-18 South West Division.
A constant threat throughout the match was Swindon’s lively winger Lloyd Macklin who opened the scoring.
Swindon doubled their advantage in the 25th minute before Hereford’s Chris Hyde was denied by the visitors’ giant goalkeeper Mark Scott.
Swindon killed off the game with a third goal two minutes before the break and they completed the triumph with a fourth after the interval.
Hereford’s best chance of the second half fell to Nick Evans who did well to rob the visitors’ left-back but his cross was cut out by a defender.
