Christopher Smith is the new Hereford Municipal GC champion after he registered a three-shot win to clinch the title.
Smith returned a gross score of 78 to beat off the challenge of second-placed James Marsh and former champion Phil Green.
Steve Miles won the nett championship, on a countback, after firing 84-17-67.
Martin Hughes was the runner-up after shooting 82-15-67.
Results, Gross: 1 Christopher Smith 78, 2 James Marsh 81, 3 Phil Green 81; Nett: 1 Steve Miles 84-17-67, 2 Martin Hughes 82-15-67; 3 A Hoskins 87-18-69.
Shaun Chambers, who totalled 38 points, won the Bikold Cup after a countback over the last nine holes.
Dean Gosling took the runners-up spot after he also shot 38 points.
Len Granger qualified for Division 2 of the UK NAPGC Championships finals at St Andrews.
He progressed from the regional finals at Thornbury GC.
Terry Robinson won the prestigious Jack Davies Memorial Charity Cup after a return of 41 stableford points.
q John Hoyle was the overall winner of Kington GC’s September medal after firing 84-19-65.
Ross Moore won the Division 1 title with 75-5-70, while Gareth Jones won Division 2 with 83-15-68.
Ray Kellard clinched the Division 3 title after a return of 83-16-67.
Barry Wilson prevailed in tough weather conditions to win the Harry Hudson Cup with 84-17-67.
Moore took the top prize in Division 1 after carding 73-5-68 and Alan Corfield was second with 77-7-70.
Mike Harley (88-15-73) won Division 2 and Phil Price (88-14-74) was the runner-up.
Barry White clinched the Division 3 prize after a return 90-19-71 and David Morgan was the runner-up with 93-21-72.
q Cradoc Seniors’ A team reached the final of the South Wales Seniors’ Classic Cup with a narrow 2-1 semi-final win over Milford Haven.
Cradoc will now defend the trophy, which they have won for the last two years, against Pontardawe at The Gower GC on September 24.
Spencer Cleaves won an away day for Cradoc captain, Alan Pooley, at The Gower.
Cleaves finished with 38 points and won the stableford competition on a countback from Paul Madden, with Ryan Williams coming third after shooting 37 points.
The team competition was won by Brian Popsys, Elwyn Beaton, Jeff Price and Ryan Williams with an excellent 90 points.
Cradoc’s Men completed their Brecon & Radnor Handicap League with a fourth consecutive success.
They secured a narrow 3-2 win at Summerhill, Hay-on-Wye.
Cradoc’s winning pairs were John Drain and Nick Powell, Alan Pooley and Chris Williams and John James and Jack Harrington.
Ian Evans triumphed with the equal lowest gross of 76, nett 67, in the club’s Beacons Cup.
Steve Connolly was second with 95-28-67, while Robert Hudman achieved third spot with 87-19-68.
The club’s senior section suffered a five matches to two defeat in a friendly against visiting Builth Wells.
Derek Lloyd and Vernon Bartlett won 4&3, while Ray Morgan and John Robert also won by the same score.
John Jones and Tony Payne won the club’s Crug Stableford 4BBB Pairs competition with 44 points.
Rod and Scott Bowen were second with 42 points, while Wayne Gittoes and Brian Evans were third after they also scored 42 points.
Cleaves clinched the annual members’ skills competition, named after past club captain Bryn Powell, for low handicappers.
q Lee and Arthur Cartwright, Nick Ellis and Josh Adams fired 125 points to clinch the top spot in the Ross-on-Wye GC’s annual captain’s day.
Joan and Richard Kirk, Mabel and Bill Day were second with 124 points, while Neil Lancett, Steve Wallbank, Gareth Webb and Richard Webb were third with 123 points.
Barry Robbins, Bob Turley, Richard and Harry Butler were the Yellow Peril winners.
A total of 164 members took part in the day which raised £6,000 towards the County Air Ambulance.
Ross A managed to secure a three-all tie at Droitwich and suffered a narrow defeat to Coleford, while Ross B shared a three-all tie in a friendly with Enville B.
q Simon Welsh, Paul Preedy, Greg Morgan and Ryan Jones fired 58.3 points to secure first place in the Texas Scramble at Belmont GC.
Harvey Hancock, Chris Merriman, Luke Morris and Colin Gladwyn achieved the runners-up spot with 59.3.
John Alexander lifted the Captain’s Cup, on a countback, after a return of 40 points.
Des Samuel, who also shot 40 points, took second place, while Peter Smith was third with 38 points.
Jamie Roach carried off the Denco Running Medal which was held over three days.
Roach was first with a return of 86-24-62, while Ben Kennedy (84-21-63) was second and Ryan Jones (71-4-67) was third.
Peter Rouse clinched the 0-14 section of the seniors’ August medal with a return of 85-14-71.
John Driscoll was the runner-up with 85-14-71.
Geoff Preece (89-21-68) won the 15-28 handicap section from second-placed Angus Maclean (90-18-72).
q Dan Davies took the top spot in Leominster GC’s RBL Cup after shooting 76-13-63.
Brian Hunt was the runner-up with 80-16-64, while Robert Leney was third with 85-18-67.
Terry Davies carried off the Newlands Cup after firing 84-19-65.
Lee Chapman (88-22-66) was second and third place went to Sam Morris (87-19-68).
Sam Griffiths captured the Data Logic Trophy after carding 45 points in the stableford competition.
Matt Crooke was the runner-up with 43 points, while Mark Darroll was third with 41 points.
Ben Clarke achieved the best card over 36 holes with a return of 86 points.
George Beattie was second, on a countback, from Paddy Morris after both players fired 78 points.
Sam Morris returned the best card over 54 holes and finished with a total of 115 points.
Paul Creasey was the runner-up with 110 points from third-placed Josh Ingram, 103 points.
G Cooke clinched first place in the 0-12 handicap section of the club’s September Monthly Medal.
Cooke fired a winning 79-12-67, while D Botwood (81-12-69) was second and Mat Cooke (84-12-72), third.
Michael Boutcher topped the 13-18 section after carding 86-16-70.
A Room (89-17-72) was second, while T Watham secured third place with 92-16-76.
S Morris triumphed in the 19-28 section after a return of 83-19-64.
B Holloway was second with 87-21-66 and B Amos (91-21-70) finished in third place.
The Leominster residents triumphed in the annual match against the Hereford residents for the Dinmore Cup.
The Leominster members won by 7½ to 6½ and the trophy was dedicated to the memory of the late Roger Griffiths.
Griffiths, who had been a member of Leominster GC, was part of the famous Hereford United Giantkillers side which beat Newcastle United in the FA Cup in 1972.
q Brian Lewis was the overall winner of the Burghill Valley Captain’s Day with a superb 46 points.
Rob Green was the winner of the men’s section with 45 points and Mike Archer won the seniors section with 41 points.
Jamie Price was the winner of the junior section.

Derek Blundell and Mike Hooper won the seniors’ Bulmers Cup with a total of 49 stableford points.
John Freeman and Arnie Morley were second with 44 points from third-placed Tony Bishop and Bill Bonham (43 points).
q Ian McIntosh captured The Sherwood Cup singles knockout title in a highly competitive match at Herefordshire GC.
Peter Butt, who took the match to the first extra hole, had to settle for the runners-up position.
Colin King carried off the Davis Elson Award with a round of 93-26-67.
Joe Millington was second in the 18-28 category with a return of 90-20-70, while Dave Halpern was third with 98-26-72.
Barry Stevenson recorded the best round in the 0-17 category with 82-11-71.
Bren Standell was second with 81-9-72 and Norman Sockett finished third with 86-14-72.
Herefordshire Seniors won their away match at Tewkesbury Park by 3½ matches to 2½.
