HEREFORDSHIRE FA chairman Bill Shorten has officially opened Westfields’ new Coach Development Centre and Classroom/ Lounge extension at allpay.park.
The Aspire Midland Alliance club have continued their development of facilities and can now offer a classroom to their partners Hereford Sixth Form College who use the facilities each Wednesday for both male and female students.
“The facility will also be used by our coaches and managers at Westfields, along with the Herefordshire FA who will hold courses and county matches at our ground,” said Westfields’ chief executive Andy Morris.
“The Football Foundation, Hereford Sixth Form College, Beaumont Trust and allpay.net, along with Westfields, have all contributed financially towards the cost of this superb facility which is really something to be proud of.”
Bill Shorten commented: “Westfields have made superb progress over the years and these facilities are first-class.”
And allpay.net spokeswoman Rebecca White added: “Allpay.net is thrilled to be once again joining forces with Westfields FC on another exciting project.
“The existing partnership works so well and we hope this is set to continue.”
