FORMER England and Nottinghamshire batsman Derek Randall will be the guest speaker at the GB Liners Marches League’s annual dinner and presentation evening next month.
Randall has replaced former umpire David Shepherd who stepped down owing to ill health.
Randall scored seven centuries in 47 Test matches for England.
He scored 2,470 runs for England at an average of 33.37.
He took the catch that clinched the Ashes in 1977 and hit 174 in the famous Centenary Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The dinner is taking place at the Three Counties Hotel on Friday, October 24.
Each Marches League club must purchase at least two tickets for the event.
