A WELSH gardener and a compost expert are giving villagers a night of green-fingered humour.
Radio 2 star Terry Walton will recall his life among the leeks at Preston-on-Wye Village Hall on October 10.
He is being joined by Richard Fishbourne, of Wiggly Wigglers, for the event, entitled “definitely not gardeners’ question time”.
Terry regularly appears on the Jeremy Vine Show where he gives dispatches from his Rhondda vegetable patch.
A light-hearted gardener, he promises advice, anecdotes and songs from the Valleys, along with hilarious banter with Richard.
Wiggly Wigglers is hosting the evening with profits going to St Michael’s Hospice and the Bobath Centre (for children with cerebral palsy).
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are priced £10, to include a light supper and refreshments.
