Floods - road closure update

THE updated list of road closures in the county has been released by Herefordshire Council.

Those shut are; the A4110 Bainstree to Lawton Cross; the A417 Bodenham to Burley Gate; the A44 Leominster to Monkland; the A465 at Llangua; the A438 Letton to Kinnersley; the A4137 at Llangarron; the A4113 Walford to Lentwardine; the causeway is closed on the B4399 Mordiford to Holme Lacy; B4224 Wye Inn to Railway Bridge at Rotherwas; the B4521 St Owen's Cross to Wormelow; the C1086 at Kinnersley; the C1001 at Brampton Bryan; the C1267 at Brockhampton; the C1273 Hole-in-the-Wall nea Ross-on-Wye; Broad Bridge at Bromyard; Bullingham Lane and Watery Lane in Hereford; the Sellack to Hoarwithy road; and the Hereford to Brecon road at Breinton is knee-high deep with floodwater.

A4666 Welsh Newton, Monmouth - now closed due to major landslide

C1086 Kinnersley – now closed

C1001 Brampton Bryan – now closed
C1267 Brockampton – now closed
C1273 Hole in the Wall at Ross – now closed
B4399 Mordiford to Holme Lacy – causeway is closed
A40 Hereford to Gwent - flooded inside lane of both carriageways

A465 at Llangua - closed as the River Dore burst its banks
B4224 – Wye Inn to Railway Bridge, Rotherwas – now closed
B4521 St Owens Cross to Wormelow - closed
B4632 at Combe Bridge - passable with care

A4137 Llangarron - closed
Bullingham Lane and Watery Lane in Hereford - closed
Sellack to Hoarwithy Road – now closed
Breinton off the Hereford to Brecon Road is flooded with knee-deep water
Prospect Hill, Peterchurch - closed due to landslide
A417 – Bodenham to Burley Gate – now clearing
A438 Hereford to Ledbury – passable with care
A4113 Walford to Lentwardine – now passable with care
The Longtown to Pandy road – passable with extreme care
Moreton-on-Lugg to Marden – passable with extreme care
C1032 Pembridge to Milton Crossroads – passable with extreme care
A44 Leominster to Monkland – now clearing
Broad Bridge at Bromyard - now open
A417 Maund Common at Bodenham – now open
A465 – Hereford to Abergavenny – now open
A465 at Stoke Lacy - now open
A465 at Mintridge - now open
A417 at Canon Frome - now open
B4203 at Bromyard - now open
A4103 at Lower Eggleton - now open
A4103 East of Newtown Cross - now open
Old Monmouth Road – now open
