My friends and I really appreciated his kindness

I WANT to draw attention to the actions of a Yeoman’s bus driver last Tuesday, August 6.

With friends, I was travelling to Hereford from Eardisley on the 9.30am bus. Being born in 1926, the year the Queen was born, I proudly had my bus pass with me!

I didn’t realise I had dropped my cheque book, with money inside.

Returning on the 12.30pm, the driver asked if anyone had lost this? Holding My cheque book up, he checked my name and returned it to me.

I did appreciate his kindness and wished to say so.

JOYCE BANBURY Millstream Gardens, Eardisley.
