After almost 60 years of meeting in the town centre, the club has moved to Leominster Golf Club. The club meets weekly on Tuesdays – on the even dates in the month, meetings are at lunchtime and on the odd dates they are in the evening.
Rotarian David Farrell handed over 800 pairs of spectacles collected in the Tenbury Wells area to DR Spooner who will be taking them to the Himalayas for distribution to local people with impaired sight. There is now a box in the Leominster Information Centre to collect discarded spectacles for the same cause. All contributions gratefully received. Rotarian Tony Smith handed over a cheque for £300 to Smile to enable two children to undergo remedial facial surgery.
