WI – When the Eardisley branch of the WI meet in the village hall today (Thursday) for its AGM the speaker will be Shelagh Smart. Her subject will be the founding of Western Australia and the River Colony. During the evening, teas will be served, there will be a market stall and a raffle. The competition will be an item for an Australian display. SCHOOL – Friends of Eardisley School will be holding their Christmas fair in the village hall on Saturday, November 22. FILMS – The next film will be on Friday, November 21. This will be The Other Boleyn Girl. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm.

PRIMARY SCHOOL – The Harvest Festival service and produce sale will be tomorrow (Friday) at 1.30pm at St Michael’s Church and afterwards in the school. In the evening the PFTA is organising a Scary or What? disco starting at 6.30pm where at least 10 parents are needed to help and reception class pupils need to be accompanied.
