Sarah is new county chairman

The new county chairman of the Herefordshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs is Sarah Wells, a member of Hereford YFC.

Sarah, aged 25, joined at the age of 21 when she was drafted in to play the piano in the drama competition.

She is a past chairman and secretary of her club and took the position of county training committee chairman last year.

She currently works as a business and IT consultant for Leominster-based rural services provider 7Y Services Ltd.

Matt Price, aged 23, and a member of Pencombe YFC, has been elected county vice-chairman.

Matt joined Pencombe YFC in 2004 and has participated in wide variety of YFC events and competitions since becoming a member, from stock judging to auctioneering.

Matt is a project engineer with KGD Industrial Services in Hereford.
