Although the cuckoo is said to now be a rare visitor to our shores several reports of the bird being heard here in Herefordshire have been made to Bird Patrol in the past week.

Nightingales have returned to Herefordshire. Bird Patrol has received reports that this melodious migrant has been heard in both the Fownhope and Mathon areas.
