A HEREFORDSHIRE design and construction company has won a prestigious award.
Border Oak Design and Construction, based in Kingsland, won the “Best Partnership with a Designer, Architect or Construction Consultant” category at the 2008 Local Authority Building Control (LABC) awards, held in London.
The firm worked closely with Herefordshire Council, which described Border Oak as a leader in a form of construction deeply rooted in Britain’s heritage while, at the same time, pioneering the latest technologies.
The awards represent every class of building across residential, public service, commercial, retail and industrial properties and recognise partnerships between local authorities and designers and architects.
