BROMYARD youngsters have been enjoying their school’s new state-of-the-art music and drama studio.

Queen Elizabeth High School’s £16,000 studio was opened last week by Councillor Philip Price, cabinet member for children’s services.

It features a 16-track mixer, an IMac computer fitted with professional-standard software, a control desk, lighting bar and stage.

The facility has already been hired out by drama groups and bands including Orbitron - made up of former Queen Elizabeth pupils.

Teacher David Kemp said: “It will be useful for drama students, music students, we can put on shows and record concerts professionally - it is a complete community-use facility.”
