Village's disgust at church vandalism

PARISHIONERS have been left shocked and disgusted after vandals defiled the village church on Easter Sunday.
St Michael's and All Angels' in Clyro - famed for its connections with diarist the Rev Francis Kilvert - was smeared with filth and a crucifix was used to pierce a painting of the Madonna and Child.
