Two car blaze in Leominster

FIREFIGHTERS were called to two cars on fire on a Leominster housing estate.

Firefighters were called to Ropewalk Avenue in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday March 26) after reports that a Mitsubishi Carisma and a Peugeot 106 were on fire.

Alec Mackie, press office for the fire service, said: "Two cars were well alight on the driveway of a property after we were called at 1.22am."

Neil Tipton, police press officer, said: "We are treating this as arson and enquiries are underway."
