Westfields 2 Pegasus Juniors 1
WESTFIELDS came from behind to clinch their eighth HFA County Challenge Cup at Edgar Street today (Monday).
Pegasus took the lead in the 75th minute through Chris Mortlock who fired a shot past Jon Pugh after a superb run and pass by Ben Price.
But Westfields hit back strongly and drew level two minutes later when an inswinging corner from Jamie Edwards sailed over Pegasus goalkeeper James Morgan and into the net.
Westfields scored the winner from another corner in the 82nd minute.
Chris Jefferson's corner caused problems in the Pegasus defence and Scott Jackson headed the ball into the net from close range after Tom Sparey's effort had struck a defender.
